Div Com reviews rehabilitation plan for affected Batamaloo Bus Stand traders | KNO

Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan today convened a meeting to review the rehabilitation plan for shopkeepers and other traders affected by shifting of General Bus Stand Batamaloo to Parimpora.

Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, VC SDA, MD SRTC, SMC Commissioner, Deputy Director Planning, Representatives of All Traders Joint Coordination Committee Batamaloo and other concerned officials were present in the meeting.

 

          The Divisional Commissioner directed DC Srinagar to undertake mapping of adjoining areas of New Parimpora Bus Stand. He also directed SDA to collect the category-wise data of all affected shopkeepers and vendors along with their business activity. They were directed to submit the reports within a week’s time so that the draft of the comprehensive rehabilitation plan is prepared for the benefit of affected traders.

On the occasion, Divisional Commissioner said under this comprehensive rehabilitation plan, all affected shopkeepers and other persons whose trading activities might have suffered will be properly rehabilitated.
